Disclaimer

When you see “guchiry fandom”, guchiry also refers to the vocaloid producer GuchiryWhat I’m describing here is his vocaloid song series. Usually to search for content of the lore, it gets tagged as “guchiry” since there isn’t really an official name for the whole series together.Guchiry said that his series as a whole is basically just named “Guchiry” on Blusky.. which makes it a bit hard to differentiate between the producer and series.I personally sometimes say “Conspriacy theory” (taken from the book title) for this series and “Guchiry mv lore” for a whole collection including other series. The series is still ongoing and told through songs and the fanbox (And some tweets)

the 10 Girls in Love/Gods’ Miniature Garden series isn’t gonna be covered in this guide. Sorry my himejoshis. It’s also because I want to keep this carrd smaller. Unless something gets confirmed but for now I am only covering the ones that are confirmed to be part of the same universe.

Guide

(For new fans who want to get the experience)

The series is still ongoing. At the moment, this project is only made up of the songs and pixiv fanbox posts.Guchiry himself said he would like to adapt his series to a manga or a novel one day. UPDATE: A novel focusing on Rain Road Girl and Schadenfreude has been announced. Once I publish the translation of the novel, I will link it in this carrd.I would also like to add that Guchiry said that lore can be subject to change.
Therefore, things may seem discontinued or have not enough information (opens to more theories)

OFFICIAL

Recommended order. You are not obliged to follow this in order. This is based on what I think would optimise your experience/match earlier fans

- Songs

Upload date order The songs are released in a weird order, so they’re not as organised. So if you want the early fan experience/into connecting things yourself, this playlist is for you.I very much prefer the release date order version because there is no correct way to order these song’s chronologically unless you speculate it as so

Chronologically (not quite) ordered (more organised) Due to the series being unfinished, it is not that accurately ordered.. in truth there is no way to order those songs.
Again it’s vague right now but in terms of arcs, it’s like dreams and reality —> Rev&Justice —> Cotac —> Midnight ball —> Naro.
Maybe if you want an easier experience of understanding the story you could follow this playlist
secret third option: watch all guchiry mvs on guchiry’s channel then find out about the mvless songs

About the series

Introduction

A vocaloid series produced by:Guchiry (ぐちり) - producer, storywriter
Shishido (シシド) - guitarist
Hima (暇) - notable main illustrator
Kuonon (くおのん) - illustrator for earlier MVs
Aise Manami (藍瀬 まなみ) - video
This series is themed around religion, philosophy and warGuchiry first published his song Bouquet say Good-bye which is also the first ever song in the series in April 2018.fun fact: Guchiry has been inspired by various vocaloid project producers such as JIN, kemu, 150p and Suzumu

Anyways, don’t worry about not understanding how it is all connected at first! I was there too. I made this guide to make the experience slightly easier
(Confusion is mainly due to having yet a media to communicate the story very clearly aka a manga/light novel)

You may these songs on Guchiry’s channel don’t seem connected at first. However, once you pull the strings together, all of the songs are in fact each part of an even bigger story. Each arc is connected to each other loosely or closely in a way actually. One main evidence of this is Mason’s character (which will be discussed as you read on)Due to a lot of stories going on, it’s hard to write a simplified synopsis. But the best I could write is this:

Back in the prehistoric times, gods and humans coexisted in harmony until a human ate the forbidden fruit of knowledge and shared it with other humans. Greed was born in humans which lead to a lot conflict. The gods decided to give up on them and blend in with mankind hence having human form.An example of this greed was when the war in 20XX broke out between the Old Empire and New Nation, known as the 10-Year War.
(Most content takes place post-war.)
Mason, a freelance journalist, investigates rumours and urban legends around the country. Which is then compiled into the book “Conspiracy theory”. This basically lead to the idea all the songs are in the same universe and may or may not overlapCW: death, suicide

Story arcs

The lore is divided into arcs listed here along with their songs.[brackets for the songs list](For now I have to use machine translation in this carrd since im pretty busy atm. I’ll write in actual translations made by myself soon + the machine translation doesn’t seem bad for this)
You can view the actual synopsises in the Official character website

Between Dream and Reality You Are / 夢と現の間で君はA war has broken out between the new nation and the old empire. The damage is immense, with many victims losing their lives.A reality that cannot be turned away, and the future we dreamed of is far away. What will you imagine between dreams and reality?[ Erica was laid to sleep / a bouquet say goodbye / between dream and reality / Lazurite and the end of the sky / Lupinus / Rest in Peace ]Focuses on Elle, a former member of the group “Psychic Dancers”Revolutionary Justice / 正義革命After a ten-year war, technological innovation led to rapid urban development in the old empire. However, this was a temporary peace built on the misfortune of many people. In an attempt to rebel against the government and bring true peace to the people, a group of students began forming a "revolutionary army."The result was the creation of a self-proclaimed hero and bomber that no one wanted.[ Pessimistic Greed / Deadly Rampage / Nitro / Noisy Minority / Reload / Conspiracy theory / Lopt’s Trick ]Focuses on the Revolutionary army lead by Jiro.Cult of the Abandoned City / 廃都の教団A new religion suddenly becomes popular in a ruined city.A young boy named Crowley is worshipped as the religion's leader, and strange and mysterious people gather around him.[ Astraea’s Disappointment / If this world was full of lies / Orthodoxia / Cassandra’s Lamentation / Prayer for Salvation / Crowley’s Melancholy / Cherie Dreams / Suicidal Drowning / The Fish Cage / Omniscient and Omnipotent / Mercedes’ Confession ]About the cult that takes place in a capital abandoned due to the war (Read Crowley’s story and Crowley’s story commentary)Midnight Ball / 真夜中の舞踏会It's two o'clock in the morning.Rumors are spreading that a ball where ghosts will gather is being held.At the same time, many people go missing in the town.Is it a coincidence or fate?

I just assume everyone under butterfly dreams are part of the universe

The story arcs actually do overlap and have characters somewhat connected to each other, you just have to find out yourself..(since I think that’s the fun part of consuming the series) I tried to help a little by adding the short descriptions. You can basically read Mason’s book in the pixiv fanbox. The book is full of chapters written about most of the songs from Mason’s knowledge, basically extra info about the stories behind the songs (from what he knows only) some songs are not covered in the book but are still relevant in lore (See in Guide)
